Inca trail 4 days/ 3 nights

The world famous inca trail has to be reserved more than 5 days in advance for the low season and more than 30 days for the high season due to new regulations of the sanctuary authorities of Macchu Picchu. The regulations only allow 500 people a day on the trail including porters, cooks and guides.
Included in the inca trail (4d/3n):
- Train or bus from Cuzco to km 82
- Meals (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners)
- 2/3 person tents
- Mattress
- Porters for tents and food
- Train back to Cuzco, leaving at 16:00pm
- Spanish/english guide
- Entrance to the inca trail and Machu Picchu
- Cook
- Cooking equipment
Not included in the inca trail(4d/3n):
- Lunch last day
- Bus ticket from Machu Picchu to Aguas calientes (USD 4.50 or 45 min. walk)
- Sleeping bag
- Optional extra porter to carry personal belongings
Recommended to bring with you(4d/3n):
- Chocolate bars
- Bag of coca leaves
- Sunblock
- Mountain boots
- Water proof jacket
- Fleece
- 2 or 3 T-shirts
- Hat or chullo for the cold evenings
- Water purifying tablets or water filter
- Medical kit
- Insect repellent
- Small towel
- Don't take jeans! They are heavy and don't dry quickly

Students with a valid ISIC student card also have to send a copy of this card for a USD 25.00 discount on the 4 day/ 3 night trail or USD 10.00 discount for the 2 day/ 1 night trail.
